Aghigh Etehad

Since 2000, Aghigh Etehad has played an integral role as an architect and urban designer for the Municipality of Mashhad, dedicating 16 years as head of urban design. In this capacity, Aghigh led a team in the planning, design, and supervision of various municipal buildings and public spaces, including parks, sports complexes, cultural venues, and street facades, all contributing to the city’s development.
Key projects included initiatives to identify and rejuvenate abandoned or unsafe urban areas and efforts to promote pedestrian-friendly designs, aiming to foster a safe and more connected urban environment. Holding a senior architectural license from the Engineering Organization, Aghigh, has also designed residential buildings and participated in architectural competitions through her family office, Architecture.
Passionate about the interplay between space, environment, and human well-being, she believes that architecture should inspire a positive impact on its surroundings.
